Pulaski County Human Sevices

Pulaski County Human Services, Inc. provides assistance to low-income, disabled and elderly households as well as general public transportation and referral services in Pulaski County Indiana.

Human Services, Inc. is a private not-for-profit community organization funded by a combination of resources.  The agency partners with NWICA, NCCAA, K-IRPC, Pulaski County United Fund, and the Pulaski County Commissioners.  It is supported by local contributions and is a WorkOne Partner.

Human Services serve as the Area 1 Agency on Aging designee for Northwest Indiana Community Action Agency.  As a WorkOne partner the agency provides childcare subsidy intake for KV Works and the Indiana Family and Social Service Administration.

Human Services provides Demand Response Public Transportation for the Kankakee-Iroquis Regional Planning commission and the rural public transit of Indiana Department of Transportation.  It offers a variety of services to families in order to help them maintain independence and self-sufficiency to improve the quality of life in Pulaski County.

Pulaski County Human Services offers childcare programs, community services, programs for the elderly, energy assistance programs, and public transportation.  Its key services include:

Pulaski Human Services, Inc. began as the Pulaski County Council on Aging in Novermber 1974
