Office hours: M-F 8:00 a.m. –4:00 p.m. Eastern. Closed from noon to 1 p.m. General inspections scheduled for the afternoon, footing on call. The purpose of the Pulaski County Building Department is to protect the life, public safety, health and general welfare of the citizens of Pulaski County, Indiana. The Department became effective July 5, 2006 by ordinance, and was recognized by the State of Indiana, August 16, 2006. The Pulaski County Building Department also has joint resolutions with the municipalities of Winamac, Monterey, and Medaryville, Pulaski County, Indiana. All building permits and inspections will be handled by the Department. The Department is available to assist and help any contractor, citizen or business with questions or needs assistance with a project. The Pulaski County Building Department enforces the following Indiana Statutes:
