The County Treasurer is an elected official serving a term of four years, but no more than two terms within 12 years.

The Treasurer is charged with the responsibility of being the custodian of all monies belonging to the county.

The Treasurer is required to annually send each person charged with taxes a statement of the amount of property tax owed. Consequently, the Treasurer collects these and related taxes for all units in the county. The collection of delinquent taxes is also the responsibility of the Treasurer.

The Treasurer and her deputy can also help you with:

• Inheritance Tax payments.
• Mobile Home Permits for Moving or Transferring Title.
• ABC Property Tax Clearance.
