Pulaski Alliance for Community Education

The Pulaski Alliance for Community Education (PACE) was established and organized as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) entity in 2002 as the result of a Lilly Endowment, Inc., Community Alliances toPromote Education (CAPE) grant. The purpose of CAPE was to provide selected counties with the ability to expand educational opportunities. Locally, PACE activities have ranged from support for preschool programs to coordination of adult-education initiatives. An educational endowment was also established with the Pulaski County Community Foundation to help to sustain the programs and to consider future Pulaski County educational needs. Grants are made available to eligible organizations each year.
